Hello Lovelies!
Recently I had the pleasure of making a Maid-of-Honor dress for a friend. At first I was hesitant because no one would dare mess up a dress, especially for a once in a lifetime wedding. However, I took on the task with courage and started from the top. I grabbed my sketch book and began designing the style of the dress from what my friend envisioned. The next step in this process was to create a pattern. To be honest this is the hard part! Ultimately the pattern is the dress itself in paper form, so I had to be very precise in my measurements. After all that it was time to cut & sew (easy part!) Glad to say it was a success! Although it could be stressful, the rewarding part was seeing the dress on her & realizing you actually made that from scratch! (Ayeee <3)

Hybrid of Styles
Hello lovelies!
Sadly its been awhile since I was on the blog; I was drowning in school work and other tedious work... but lets get down to business! The theme of this outfit is professionalism with a classy feel. I know most people think the two styles are interchangeable, however I beg to differ. Usually when women try to dress 'professional' its for an interview or a conference meeting of some sort. Whereas, they dress 'classy' at extravagant dinners or sophisticated parties. Likewise, I put the two styles together by starting with a black skirt, that had a flare at the bottom, which in this case gave it the 'classy' look. I then matched it with a medium gray blouse, which added the professional feel. In order to bring the two themes together I wore studded eye rings and the signature KEYNAN turban style.

Camo Chic
Hello Ladies & (Gents?)
This is a quick post of a semi-edgy outfit I put together! Let me begin by saying I love how camo print gives any outfit attitude, especially with the leather sleeves on the jacket!... c'mon we all like to be seen as tough once in a while. But, the fur collar calmed down the edginess of this look and added a feminine flare. I paired it with this plain dark green fitted skirt, from H&M. As always I finished this look with my signature turban!
